Start from FCPS so you do not accidentally use another Fayette County’s map.

FCPS states that middle-school and high-school boundaries are the same. Do not rely on a real-estate listing, subdivision name or neighboring family’s assignment instead of the current address lookup.
Fayette County enrollment through Infinite Campus
FCPS uses Infinite Campus Online Registration for all enrollments. The district recommends a computer, says registration may take about 30–40 minutes and recommends Google Chrome.

Missing documents can stop or delay processing.

FCPS accepts JPG, PNG and PDF files, with a maximum size of 3 MB. HEIC files are explicitly not accepted.

Stale closure-date warning: the live Enrollment page still displays previous-year holiday closure examples such as Labor Day September 1, Thanksgiving November 24–28 and Spring Break April 6–10, while the 2026–27 district calendar lists different dates. Call or verify the current calendar before visiting the Enrollment Center on a holiday/break date.
Grade-specific immunization reminders
Grade 7
Georgia entry guidance requires one Tdap dose and one meningococcal conjugate vaccine.
New entrants Grades 8–12
Students newly entering a Georgia school in these grades may also need the Grade 7 vaccination requirements.
Grade 11
Entering/transferring eleventh-graders need proof of an MCV4 booster unless the first dose was received at age 16 or later.
Forms 3231 and 3300 are submitted to the nurse at the child’s school under the district’s enrollment procedures.
How to change a Fayette County student address
An address change can affect school assignment and bus service, so updating Infinite Campus is more than a mailing-address task.

FCPS says the special-permission step should be completed within 24 hours of the address change to avoid withdrawal and placement at the zoned school.
Expect transportation lag
The district says Transportation may not see a processed address change for about 24 hours.
No bus for special permission: FCPS says transportation is not provided when a student attends outside the school zone under special permission.
EZ Arrival, bus registration and route troubleshooting
Do not use the old EZA2B-only instructions. The dedicated FCPS Transportation page now says BusQuest and EZA2B are being replaced by EZ Arrival.

Official-source conflict: the July 24, 2026 FCPS back-to-school announcement says student breakfast costs $2.25 and lunch costs $3.50. The current dedicated School Nutrition payment page still displays $2.00 breakfast and $3.25 lunch. The dated July 2026 announcement is newer, but families should verify the current cafeteria/account price before depositing an exact amount.

Fayette County attendance thresholds parents should know
5 personal notes
After five parent/guardian personal notes for excused absences, school administration may request medical documentation for later absences.
5 unexcused
For compulsory-attendance ages 6–16, the school sends parent notification and a consequences summary.
10 unexcused
The Attendance/Residency Officer reports the violation for review of possible formal intervention.
Tardies use a similar progression

Graduate / withdrawn transcript
Another stale-date issue: the Transcript / Enrollment Center page also displays previous-school-year holiday closures. Treat the normal hours and records-retention closure note as useful, but verify any specific holiday visit against the current 2026–27 calendar.
Open Records: FCPS says public-record requests go to the Open Records Officer and applicable information or correspondence is provided within three business days after receipt, subject to Georgia law and production feasibility.
